How to use

Adjust the shaft and handle so you can stand upright with the head flat to the ground. Trim in a sweeping motion from side to side, letting the line tip do the cutting. For edges, switch to edging mode and guide the wheel along the lawn border.

Good to know

Trim when the grass is dry for a cleaner cut, and let the motor reach full speed before the line touches the grass. Keep the head just above the soil rather than pressing it down, which wears the line faster. Replacement spools are sold separately; check that a new spool is made for the Contour range before buying.
