How to use
- Lift the manhole or inspection chamber cover and find which way the blockage lies.
- Screw a tool on to the first rod and feed it into the drain, adding rods as you go.
- Always turn the rods clockwise while working them back and forth. Turning anticlockwise can unscrew the joints and leave a rod stuck in the drain.
- Once the water starts to flow, flush the drain with a hose and wash the rods before storing.
Safety
Wear gloves and eye protection, and wash your hands well afterwards. Put the manhole cover back straight away so no one can fall in.
