Isopon P.40 Glass Fibre Bridging Compound

Isopon P.40 is a glass fibre reinforced body filler for repairing holes up to 75mm wide in car bodywork and other metal surfaces. The glass fibre gives it strength to bridge a gap where ordinary filler would sag or crack. This is the large 2.9kg trade size.

How to use

1. Remove rust and loose paint around the hole and roughen the surface with coarse abrasive paper.
2. Mix filler and hardener in the proportions on the tin, a small amount at a time.
3. Press it into and over the hole and leave it slightly proud.
4. Once hard, shape it, then finish with a fine filler such as Isopon P.38 before priming and painting.

Read the tin label before use. Use in a well-ventilated area, wear gloves and eye protection, and wear a dust mask when sanding. Keep away from flames and out of reach of children.
