The Makita DBO180Z is an 18V LXT cordless 125mm random orbit sander, supplied as a bare unit without battery or charger. It has electronic three-speed control from 7,000 to 11,000 orbits per minute with a 2.8mm orbit, through-the-pad dust collection that connects to an extractor, and a rubber-coated handle for grip. Battery protection guards against overloading, over-discharge and overheating.

Using it
Fit a hook-and-loop 125mm disc, start the sander before it touches the work and move it steadily without pressing down hard. Start on a lower speed for finishing and connect an extractor where you can.
