Monument Olive Removing Tool

The Monument 2030B olive removing tool takes compression olives off 15mm copper pipe without cutting the pipe. It is the tool to reach for when you need to reuse a pipe end, for example when replacing a valve or tap connector and there is no slack to cut back.

How to use

1. Turn off and drain the water, then undo the compression nut and slide it back along the pipe.
2. Fit the tool over the pipe end and the olive as shown in the instructions.
3. Turn the screw to draw the olive off the pipe.
4. Clean the pipe end and fit a new olive when you remake the joint.

Good to know

Never reuse an old olive on a new fitting. Fit a new one and tighten the nut by hand, then a further half to three-quarters of a turn with a spanner.
