Ronseal Decking Stripper, 2.5 litres, removes old oils, stains and paints from all types of stained or oiled wooden decking. One coat works in about 30 minutes and covers up to 5m² per litre. It is solvent based and goes on straight from the tin.

Using it
Work on a dry day above 10°C. Shake the tin and brush a thick layer on to small sections with a stiff brush, topping up patches that dry out. After 30 minutes scrape a test area, then scrub along and across the boards, adding water, and rinse thoroughly with a hose or jet wash. Leave the deck to dry for a couple of days before staining, oiling or painting.
Care
Wash tools in warm soapy water. Do not pour leftovers into drains or watercourses.
Safety
Wear protective gloves, protect nearby plants and grass with a dust sheet, and take care as the deck can be slippery while it works. Read the label before use and keep out of reach of children.
