Product Overview

Protective clear coat for windows, doors and conservatories. Active UV filters; combat and protect against the weather. Retains existing colour of wood. Superior resistance to peeling, blistering and flaking.

How to use it

Treating fences, sheds, decking and garden furniture

Protect outdoor wood from rain and sun so it lasts longer.

Step by step

Pick a dry spell: no rain due for at least 24 hours.
Brush off dirt, cobwebs and loose flakes with a stiff brush.
Treat any mould or algae and rinse if the product needs it.
Let the wood dry right through.
Apply the treatment with a brush or sprayer, working along the full length of each board.
Add a second coat if the label says so, once the first is touch dry.

Tips

Test the colour on a hidden area first, as wood type changes the shade.
Do the end grain well, as that is where water gets in.
Decking oils go on thin; wipe off any puddles.

Safety

Wear gloves and eye protection when spraying.
Keep pets and children away until it is dry.
