A genuine Spacepro Aura telescopic hanger bar with a silver effect finish. It adjusts in length so one bar can span different storage column widths; Spacepro gives the range as 720mm to 1300mm.

Aura is Spacepro's modular storage system built around telescopic floor to ceiling stanchions for ceilings from 2.1m to 2.7m. The stanchions have evenly spaced pre-drilled holes, so accessories can be set at the height you need. This listing is for the hanger bar only; Aura stanchions are listed separately.

How to use it

Fitting wardrobe doors, handles and cabinet hardware

Measure for sliding doors and fit handles, knobs and wardrobe interiors.

Step by step

Measure the opening width at top, middle and bottom, and the height at both sides; use the smallest figures.
Check how many doors the opening needs and the overlap the kit allows.
Fit the top and bottom tracks level, fixing into solid timber or with suitable plugs.
Hang the doors on the top track and drop them into the bottom track.
Adjust the wheels until the gaps are even.
For handles, use a template to mark holes so every handle lines up.

Tips

Allow for skirting boards and coving when measuring.
Use a drill stop or tape on the bit when drilling cupboard doors.
Interior rails and shelves can be added later.

Safety

Mirror doors are heavy: lift with two people.
