Checking accuracy
Place the level on a flat surface and note the bubble. Turn it end for end in the same spot: the bubble should sit in the same position. Repeat with the vertical vials against a wall.
Care
Wipe off plaster, mortar and adhesive before it sets, and store the level where it will not be knocked or bent. A dropped level should be checked before it is used again.
