Product Overview

For joining 2 floor types of the same or differing heights.

How to use it

Laying flooring, tiles and underlay

Prepare the floor and lay vinyl, carpet tiles or underlay neatly.

Step by step

Measure the room and add 10% for cuts.
Leave the flooring in the room for 24 hours to settle.
Make sure the floor is clean, dry and level; use levelling compound if needed.
Start from the centre or the longest straight wall.
Cut to fit round edges with a sharp knife and a straight edge.
Fit threshold strips at doorways.

Tips

Carpet tiles can be swapped out one at a time if stained.
Run vinyl towards the main light source to hide seams.
Remove skirting boards for the neatest finish.

Safety

Kneel on pads and use a sharp blade carefully.
