Triton Seville Electric Shower 8.5kw

The Triton Seville is an 8.5kW electric shower in white and chrome. It heats water straight from the cold mains as you use it, so it gives hot water on demand without a boiler or hot water tank. Multiple cable and water entry points make it a practical choice when replacing an existing electric shower.

Choosing a power rating

A higher kW rating heats water faster, so it gives a stronger flow at a given temperature, especially in winter when the incoming water is colder. When replacing an old shower, the new one should match the rating the existing cable and circuit were installed for. The Seville is also made in 7.5kW, 9.5kW and 10.5kW versions.

Installation

Electric showers must be connected to their own circuit by a qualified electrician, in line with Part P of the Building Regulations in England and Wales. The cable and circuit protection must be sized for an 8.5kW shower. Plumbing must be to the cold mains supply.

Care

Rub the nozzles regularly to remove limescale, especially in hard water areas. Clean the unit with a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasive or solvent cleaners.
