Product Overview

Multi-functional 3 in 1 tiling tool. CHISEL - ideal for removing broken or damaged tiles. Patent Pending. NIPPER - durable tungsten carbide tipped jaws for cutting and shaping wall tiles.

How to use it

Tiling walls and floors

Plan, fix and grout tiles for a neat, waterproof finish.

Step by step

Make sure the surface is flat, firm, clean and dry.
Plan the layout from the centre so cut tiles at the edges are not too thin.
Fix a straight batten as a guide for the first full row.
Spread adhesive with a notched trowel, about 1 square metre at a time.
Press tiles in with a slight twist and use spacers for even gaps.
Leave the adhesive to set, usually 24 hours, then grout.
Wipe off grout haze with a damp sponge and polish when dry.

Tips

Buy about 10% extra for cuts and breakages.
Use waterproof adhesive and grout in showers.
Seal the joint where tiles meet the bath or worktop with silicone, not grout.

Safety

Wear eye protection when cutting tiles.
Kneel on pads for floor tiling.
