Wagner Fence And Decking Sprayer

The Wagner Fence & Decking Sprayer is a 460W electric sprayer for applying fence paints, wood stains, oils and preservatives to fences, sheds and decking. Wagner says it can spray a fence panel in under two minutes, which makes it much quicker than a brush on long runs of fencing.

Suitable for

Water-based and solvent-based fence paints, oils, stains, varnishes, wood preservatives and treatments. It is not suitable for thick paints such as emulsion or masonry paint.

Before you start

Brush off dirt, cobwebs and loose flakes, and let the wood dry. Stir the product well and thin it only if the product label allows. Test the spray pattern on a piece of card first, then spray in even passes about 15 to 20cm from the surface, overlapping each pass slightly. Two thin coats give a better finish than one heavy one.

Cleaning

Clean the sprayer straight after use with water for water-based products, or the solvent the product label recommends for solvent-based ones. Never leave product in the container or gun.

Safety

• Spray on a calm, dry day and cover plants, cars and anything you do not want coated
• Wear eye protection and a suitable mask, especially with solvent-based products
• Never point the gun at people or animals
